Project Management Career Night Online

Special Event | May 20 | 6:30-8 p.m. |  Online

 UC Berkeley Extension

Join us online for an evening devoted to career planning and networking specifically for project managers. Our current students, alumni, prospective students and members of the Bay Area project management community are all welcome. Save your seat!

Project Manager is one of the most versatile job titles you can have. Project managers lead teams in IT, software, biotech, healthcare, financial services, sales and marketing, government, and more.

But, how do you make a transition into being a project manager? What if you don't have a technical degree? How do you get that first project manager job or morph what you're doing so it includes more project management responsibility? Can you change industry and role in one move?

This edition of Project Management Career Night will be a discussion about ways to make a career transition into project management. Our panel of current and recent students, industry leaders, and instructors will share their experiences and answer your questions.

Learn about career paths, what firms look for when hiring new project managers, how to gauge salary expectations, and how other students have applied their project management education to deliver value to their organizations.

Take advantage of this chance to hear from project managers, instructors, alums, and other students. Once you register, you will receive the link to the Live Stream event in your confirmation email.
