CE153 Airport Design
Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE)
Nine groups of students from the highly popular CE153 Airport Design Class will present their final term projects. Project themes cover an interesting spectrum of real-world and real-time aviation problems, and range from topics such as relieving delays and congestion, smart airports utilizing private LTE networks, airline consolidation and airport design, airport passenger experience at hub airports, integration of Hyperloop and air transport in the face of sea level rise, and post-natural disaster emergency airports, and wake vortex analysis.
