Two solo performers feature their sonic experiments in our reverberant setting. Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe is an artist and composer who works with voice in the realm of spontaneous music, often under the moniker Lichens. His recent live performances combine modular synthesis patches with his own tonal vocalizations. Gabie Strong, founder of the record label Crystalline Morphologies, explores spatial constructions of degeneration, drone, and decay as a means to improvise. Her work addresses the use of ritual incantation to reveal feminine knowledge.
