Join the Environmental Design Archives the second Tuesday of each month for Gallery Talks, a series of informal lectures given by scholars and practitioners.

&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.spur.org/publications/urbanist-article/2015-11-12/member-profile-margie-odriscoll&quot;&gt;Margie O’Driscoll&lt;/a&gt; will be giving a talk entitled “Why Bother with Competitions?” O’Driscoll, the former Executive Director of the San Francisco branch of the American Institute of Architects, will give a lecture on her extensive experience as a design competition consultant managing award programs for government, nonprofit, and corporate clients. Her talk will discuss the myths and truths about competitions. Do not miss it!
