Italy and the Future of Europe

A founding member state of the European Union, Italy continues to play a key role in international and transatlantic relations at this critical juncture in the history of Europe. How should Italy and the E.U. respond to the interrelated challenges of populism, migration, climate change, and economic pressures? What impact will Brexit have on the Italian and European political and economic landscapes? This conversation will address the future of Italy within the evolving Eurozone, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco.
