The Second U.S.- China Cultural Forum: A Binational Conversation on Bridging CulturesConference/Symposium: Center for Chinese Studies | October 15 | 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | Faculty Club, Heyns Room Center for Chinese Studies (CCS), National Endowment for the Humanities, President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities The National Endowment for the Humanities, with additional support from the Presidents Committee on the Arts and Humanities, will host a delegation of scholars and artists from China at a conference highlighting the importance of culture and the arts in the dialogue between the United States and China. The day and a half program will feature a series of round table conversations among scholars, artists and other representatives of culture from the two nations. Discussions will review the history of relations between our countries and consider the influence of culture, especially various elements of the arts, on the development of mutual understanding.
