This two hour symposium presents research from the three leading scholars working at the intersection of social welfare and public health. Examining stigma and violence exposure among sexual and gender minority youth and associated impacts on mental and behavioral health, the panel of scholars will discuss recommendations for future research and the development of prevention, intervention, and policy efforts in this area.
