Seminar | March 11 | 12-1 p.m. | 101 Barker Hall

Rytas Vilgalys, Professor of Biology, Duke University

Department of Plant and Microbial Biology

Dr. Vilgalys earned his B.A. in Botany from the State University of NY at Genesco and both his M.S. and Ph.D. at Virginia Polytech Institute and State University. Their research specializes in evolution, genetics, and systematics; specifically they study phylogenetic systematics and molecular evolution in fungi. They are a Professor of Biology at Duke University.
