Roundtable Reading: Hello, Universe by Erin Entrada Kelly

Reading - Literary | February 9 | 3 p.m. |  Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive

Virgil Salinas is shy and kindhearted and feels out of place in his loud, boisterous family. Valencia Somerset is deaf, smart, and brave, and loves everything about nature. Kaori Tanaka is a self-proclaimed psychic whose little sister Gen always follows her around. And Chet Bullens just wants to concentrate on basketball. They aren’t friends—until, one day, their lives weave together in unexpected ways. A rescue is performed, a bully is put in his place, and friendship blooms.
