Midterm Elections: Moving Forward

Lecture | November 7 | 8-9:30 p.m. | 222 Wheeler Hall

 Darren Zook, Bridge USA

 Bridge USA

In the wake of one of the most anticipated midterm elections in modern American history, BridgeUSA invites you to join Professor Darren Zook as he talks about the impact these elections will have moving forward. Key to the discussion will be the issues surrounding political diversity, increasing partisanship in Washington, and influence on future generations.

Prof. Darren Zook lectures in the political science surrounding south and southeast Asian cultures, as well as how these cultures interact with the rest of the world. He recently published a four part book series on Diversity in America, including a section focusing on political diversity.

The event will be a modified version of BridgeUSA's traditional open forum discussions, where Professor Zook will provide his personal opinions and detailed insights, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. The 2018 midterm elections will set the course of American politics for the foreseeable future and is undoubtedly one of the most important political events this year. We highly encourage everyone to come, participate, and discuss with Professor Zook.
