Professional Emailing Workshop

Workshop | January 23 | 2-3 p.m. | 1229 Dwinelle Hall

 Leah Carroll

 Office of Undergraduate Research

Do you need to email someone you've never met before to ask for their help, but you don't know where to start? Have you ever written a long email to a professor, only to receive no response? If so, this workshop is for you! We will discuss how to present yourself professionally over email to faculty and other professionals so that you make a great first impression.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to get feedback on an email you have already written to a professor, or one you write during the workshop.

The workshop is open to all UC-Berkeley students (undergraduate, graduate, and visiting scholars) regardless of academic discipline.

To get to 1229 Dwinelle, use the north-west accessible entrance - towards the parking lot near VLSB. The room should be 8 feet from the entrance on your right.
