Mindfulness Meditation Group

The Mindfulness Meditation Group meets every Tuesday at 12:15-1:00 pm at 3110 Tang Center on campus. All campus-affiliated people are welcome to join us on a drop-in basis, no registration or meditation experience necessary. We start with a short reading on meditation practice, followed by 30 minutes of silent sitting, and end with a brief discussion period.

Studio FATHOM Site Visit

Fathom is a prototype and manufacturing studio in Oakland. They focus on creating prototype parts for companies. They utilize many different methods, such as injection molding, CNC machines, 3D printers, and fabrication methods. Select students will take an on-site tour in their downtown Oakland HQ followed by a presentation by their Design & Engineering Team.

 Attendance restricted to MEng students.
