Tyler Mincey is the vice president of product at Pearl, where he’s focused on product development across the company. Prior to Pearl, Tyler was a partner at Fictive Kin, building web and mobile products for the likes of Atlantic Media, Betaworks, the Collaborative Fund and Swissmiss. During this time he also served as co-organizer of the Brooklyn Beta conference, and served as manager of its fund and incubator program. Previously, Tyler spent five years at Apple in various senior and management roles across engineering and product development teams. Some of his key achievements include managing the iPod Product line (Shuffle, Nano, Classic, Touch) and key new technologies including the touch screen for the first iPhone.

Jorge Fino is the director of design at Pearl, where he leads creative design across the company. Prior to Pearl, he was design director at Oculus driving the advancement of interaction paradigms for virtual reality operating systems and establishing the foundation of the young Oculus brand. With over 15 years of design experience, Jorge’s resume also includes six years at Apple working on human interface design for some of the most influential products in the company’s history including the faces of the Mac, iPhone, iPod, and CarPlay. He also spent the early part of his career in various director and design roles at marketing and advertising agencies producing award-winning work for clients such as Coca-Cola, IBM, Xerox, and Target.
