An Introduction to Bonsai with Jonas Dupuich

Come learn about the beautiful art of Bonsai with Jonas Dupuich. Jonas has spent 20 years studying Bonsai and teaches workshops and exhibits Bonsai throughout California. In this two hour workshop you will see through demonstration and hands-on experience the fundamentals of Bonsai: Repotting, wiring, and different display styles.

$40, $30 Garden members

Develop an instructional unit incorporating the eight elements of PBLL, the California World Language Standards, 21st Century Skills, and Common Core Standards, with a focus on target language proficiency development in all three modes of communication, oral and written.

Reversible dry adhesion-based transfer printing provides a path to heterogeneous material integration. Research in smart dry adhesives, 3D MEMS, and nano devices are presented, including responsive surfaces, microassembly, and nanomanufacturing technologies. Reversible dry adhesive made of shape memory polymer enable microassembly called micro-LEGO.
