Call for Submissions for the Fall English Pedagogy Poster Session
Deadline: Friday, September 8, 2017
Notification: By Friday, September 15
Event Date and Location: Week of September 25, 2017 (TBA), Wheeler Lounge
Generously sponsored by the Daniel E. Koshland, Jr. Chair, the Poster Session is a convivial event in which graduate student instructors present a pedagogical method they've developed, to share ideas with their peers. If selected to participate, you will create a poster that highlights a specific teaching challenge, strategy, and outcome that you encountered and used in one of your classes, to share during a lunchtime poster session open to faculty and grad students in the English department.
All current English grad students who have taught R&C or led discussion sections are welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to applicants who did not participate in last years session. Poster-making supplies will be provided. Participants will receive $100 in the form of an Amazon.com gift card.
