David Willetts is the British author of The Pinch, former Member of Parliament, now member of the House of Lords, and former Minister for Universities and Science in the Cameron cabinet. Willetts is a centrist conservative with a lifetime career in policy and government in UK, and an academic background as well. He leads the Resolution Foundation which focuses on intergenerational issues, and which released a report in 2018 proposing that each child be granted 10,000 BP ($13,000) at age 25 to improve the intergenerational wealth balance.
