Mindfulness Meditation Group

The Mindfulness Meditation Group meets every Tuesday at 12:15-1:00 pm at 3110 Tang Center on campus. All campus-affiliated people are welcome to join us on a drop-in basis, no registration or meditation experience necessary. We start with a short reading on meditation practice, followed by 30 minutes of silent sitting, and end with a brief discussion period.

Discovery Station: Newts
Special Event | January 2 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | UC Botanical Garden
Newts return! Each year, the winter rains prompt newts to migrate to the Gardens Japanese Pool where their mating behaviors can be easily observed. Docents will be on hand to provide garden visitors with an up-close look at newts at all stages of their life cycle, and to answer questions about these amazing and adorable animals. Free with Garden admission.
