Introduction to Programming for Bioinformatics Summer Bootcamp

The Center for Computational Biology is offering a 5-day condensed "Introduction to Programming for Bioinformatics" Summer Bootcamp from June 10 - 14, 2019. The course covers essential Python programming with particular focus on bioinformatics problems and applications. Each 8-hour day includes two hour lectures and approximately 6 hours of programming exercises guided by the instructors.

The Mindfulness Meditation Group meets every Tuesday at 12:15-1:00 pm at 3110 Tang Center on campus. All campus-affiliated people are welcome to join us on a drop-in basis, no registration or meditation experience necessary. We start with a short reading on meditation practice, followed by 30 minutes of silent sitting, and end with a brief discussion period.
