Lim Guan Eng, Malaysia's Minister of Finance and the Secretary General of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), will deliver a talk on the investment environment in Malaysia. His talk will include the causes behind Malaysias success in reducing its dependence on extractive resources and agriculture, diversifying its economy, and transitioning to a knowledge based, competitive, and innovative economy capable of creating jobs outside the state sector and producing high value-added goods and services. Minister Lim Guan Eng will also be delivering a brief synopsis of Malaysias development trajectory, current initiatives, and what remains to be done.
