Mindfulness Meditation Group

The Mindfulness Meditation Group meets every Tuesday at 12:15-1:00 pm at 3110 Tang Center on campus. All campus-affiliated people are welcome to join us on a drop-in basis, no registration or meditation experience necessary. We start with a short reading on meditation practice, followed by 30 minutes of silent sitting, and end with a brief discussion period.

Texas Instruments: Hands-on workshop: "Power Your Project"

 Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS)

Attendees will:

1. Assemble (and keep) a Power Starter Kit, including enclosure,
breadboard, power module, and 9V battery.

2. Learn why voltage regulators are needed, how they work, and key concerns when choosing them for their projects.

3. Use TI’s WEBENCH online tool to quickly choose and/or
rapidly design a power supply for your projects.
