Information Session | May 1 | 11 a.m.-12 p.m. | 190 Doe Library
UC Berkeley is one of five schools invited to participate in the newly-launched Goldman Sachs Digital Innovators Research Program. PhDs and graduate students, as well as undergraduate students, are encouraged to apply, especially those with their degree programs completed by August 2019.
Several units on campus including the Berkeley Institute for Data Science have enjoyed working with leaders in Goldman Sachs engineering, who are excited about the prospect of Berkeley being represented in the inaugural group of Digital Innovators. Come to BIDS at 190 Doe Library on Wednesday, May 1, at 11:00 AM to learn about the program and how to apply for the fellowship.
Goldman Sachs engineers, Russell Elliott (UC Berkeley alum) and Francis Giannaros, will describe this incredible opportunity to build on financial services frameworks for commercially-oriented research projects. Areas of research include data visualization, machine learning, and mobility.
See the attached flyer for more info or check out the program's website.
