Young Tiger” introduces 15-year-old Many who was smuggled as illegal immigrant into France and expects to begin to work immediately to send money back to his parents. But instead of risking to hire an underaged worker, his smuggler Kamal decides to hand Many over to the state. Two years later Many seems to be an exemplary teenager: fully integrated into France's Indian Sikh community, a caring foster child and boyfriend to African classmate Elisabeth. Many becomes Kamal’s right-hand man. Caught in conflicting demands, the question wether to remain or to leave occurs when Kamal insists on Many’s particiption in his smuggling operation, exposing young countrymen to the same danger and experiences of fear and confusion that characterized Many’s arrival in France.
