3D Scanning and Virtual Reality for Archaeology: Demonstrations and Discussion

Join us for demonstrations of 3D VR hardware (goggles and scanners) planned at the Archaeological Research Facility from 1 to 3:30pm on Friday April 6th.
We anticipate participation from CyArk, Geoslam, High Fidelity, Codifi, Insight Digital, Faro, and others at our workshop.
The event will begin with 10 minute presentations by each of the represented companies or projects, an open discussion and then one-on-one demonstrations and conversation with representatives. Please join us for the project presentations or just drop by any time before 3:30pm to experience a variety of emerging 3D VR technologies for use in heritage and archaeology!

The Past is Present: Virtuality, Archaeology, and the Future of History conference on Thurs April 5 in Sutardja Dai Hall (UC Berkeley) as well as our featured Spring Lecture on April 5 at 5pm in our building "The Imperial Landscape of Assyria, from the Ground and Above" with Jason Ur (Harvard).
No registration is needed and this workshop is free to attend.
