Seminar
Speaker/Performer: Peter Williams
I'll describe just what exactly I've been up to for the past six years
with an eye to the big picture. Why are we interested in the radio time
domain? How do we observe it? What's the outlook for time-domain radio
astronomy in the near future? I'll emphasize astrophysical results from
a large search for Galactic radio transients performed with the Allen
Telescope Array known as ASGARD. Because you only get to give one PhD
exit seminar I'll try to have some fun with things.
