The Center for Computational Biology is offering a 5-day condensed "Introduction to Programming for Bioinformatics" Summer Bootcamp from June 10 - 14, 2019. The course covers essential Python programming with particular focus on bioinformatics problems and applications. Each 8-hour day includes two hour lectures and approximately 6 hours of programming exercises guided by the instructors. The course assumes no programming experience, and there are no prerequisites for the course. Participants are required to furnish their own laptops running a recent version of Mac OSX, Windows, or Linux.

Space in the class is limited and you MUST be able to commit to 9am-5pm for the entire week! Registration is on a first come, first serve basis with the following registration fees:

$150 for UC Berkeley students and postdocs
$200 for non-UC Berkeley students & postdocs
$300 for faculty, visiting scholars, staff at UC Berkeley, other UC and non-UC campuses
$500 for industry participants

For students, your registration fees may be reimbursed by your lab so please check with your PI.
