The #MeToo movement, which has gained significant traction since actress Alyssa Milano used the hashtag in October 2017 to encourage survivors of sexual assault and harassment to speak out and raise awareness, has had an unprecedented social and cultural effect. As survivors continue to raise allegations of sexual misconduct across industries, it is important to discuss how to approach the systemic issues that enable this behavior, as well as ways to support survivors. This panel aims to address those topics, bringing in voices from survivors, activists, and supporters of the movement.
