Race, celebrity, wealth, and the constraints of public officials were all brought to the forefront of the media in the decade-defining 1994 O.J. Simpson trial. Nearly 25 years later, these same aspects of the trial continue to be mainstay in the American legal system. In his talk, Christopher Darden, one of the prosecutors in the case, will address the ever-present challenges of maneuvering both the legal system and the media during times of social tension.
