The Department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies presents a workshop by choreographer Krista DeNio that includes a physical warm-up, ensemble-building exercises, and "making" (bringing creative ideas into choreographic action). Content will be drawn from "NETWORK," the Berkeley Dance Project (BDP) piece choreographed by DeNio about networks of communication among cells--in bodies, prisons and plants. Attendees will receive a discount to the BDP performance (running April 2029 at Zellerbach Playhouse). DeNio is an interdisciplinary choreographer and artistic director of kd>>moving ground.
