"Community Corrections Colloquium: The Politics of Service Delivery" brings together expert providers to share their unique points-of-view on the importance of situating corrections reentry and rehabilitation in a community context, and the inherent tensions that complicate this work.

Panelists will share stories on topics such as "The Evolution of Community Reentry from the 1980's-Present" "Providing Brief Trauma-Informed Therapy in Prisons and Parole Clinics", "Culturally-Competent Practice in Reentry", "The Importance and Challenge of a Probation Officer/Therapist Collaboration" and "Learning From Lived Experience: Finding Meaning through Reentry".

There will be a Question & Answer period with the audience following the presentation.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Event is free and open to the public. No RSVP necessary.
