This course details the process of designing new SharePoint Sites and Subsites. Emphasis is placed on App management, security permissions, and content design and formatting. Learning Objectives * Understand the underlying structure and hierarchy of Sites, Subsites, and Apps. * Preview examples of key SharePoint Site templates and baseline features. * Create a new SharePoint Site and define initial security and navigation inheritance. * Configure Site Collection User Groups and default Site Permissions. * Manage Site functionality by creating, modifying, or removing standard Apps. * Define inheritance or unique App permissions. * Design the layout and contents of Site pages by integrating Web Parts, App Parts, and HTML code. * Provide navigational links for site visitors to Site Apps and Site Pages. * Brand Sites and Subsites using themes and graphics. * Disable or permanently delete Sites and Subsites.
