Astronomy Night at UC Berkeley

The August 2019 installment of our Astro Night series will be on August 1. UC Berkeley postdoctoral fellow Josh Dillon will talk about using radio telescopes to make 3D maps of hydrogen in the early universe.

As always, come join us at Campbell Hall on the UC Berkeley campus for a FREE night of astronomy and stargazing on the roof with our fleet of telescopes.

When: Thursday, August 1st
Talk: 8:00-9:00 pm, "Making the Largest-Ever 3D Maps of our Universe"
Stargazing: 9:00pm-10:30pm (weather dependent)

Doors to Campbell Hall open at 7:30pm, and seating is first come, first serve. Feel free to come and go during the stargazing portion of the evening. The talk will begin at 8:00pm sharp.
