Conference/Symposium | October 4 | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | UCSC Silicon Valley Campus
3175 Bowers Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95054
As California provides more than half the produce for the entire nation and leads the world in technology and life sciences, the state is also the ideal testbed for bold ideas and ambitions around AgTech. UC researchers and partners are applying innovative technology solutions to increase production to feed growing populations and to conserve scarce water resources.
At our first fall Silicon Valley Forum on Technology and Innovation in Agriculture on October 4, we describe this work. Featured speakersinclude: Stefano Carpin, Professor of Computer Science, UC Merced; Shrinivasa K. Upadhyaya, Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, UC Davis; Miku Jha, AgShift Co-Founder & CEO; and Gabriel Youtsey, Chief Innovation Officer for UCs Agriculture and Natural Resources Division (ANR).
We invite you to join us for this highly interactive event that includes short presentations and a panel discussion with plenty of time for Q+A and networking. Lunch will be provided.
