College Information Day

College Information Day, a free, annual event at the University of California, Berkeley, in which college and university representatives will give college preparation tips to about 1,000 middle school and high school students and their families.

More than 50 public and private colleges and universities will be represented, including those within the UC system, California State University, institutions outside of the Golden State, historically black colleges and community colleges.

Workshops on admission requirements, financial aid and scholarships for documented and undocumented students, and requirements to be a transfer student, will be conducted in English and Spanish.

A panel of college students will discuss their own college admissions processes, financial aid applications, entrance tests, personal statements and more. Participants also will be offered guided campus tours.

A Cash for College workshop will be offered to high school students and their parents to help them fill out the FAFSA or Dream App. This workshops will take place from 9:30 -1:00 in 105 Dwinelle Hall.
