Northern California Symplectic Geometry Seminar: Lagrangian cobordism and tropical curves

Seminar | May 7 | 2:30-3:30 p.m. | Stanford University, Room 384H

We give obstructions to and constructions of Lagrangian cobordisms between configurations of Lagrangian torus fibres in a symplectic manifold which is the total space of an integrable system. The results are proven using family Floer theory and tropical geometry, and are motivated by a relationship to rational equivalence of zero-cycles on a mirror rigid analytic space. This talk reports on joint work with Nick Sheridan.
