This colloquium series covers both the Cognitive and Cognitive Neuroscience areas with the Department of Psychology. Children of immigrant families and dual language learners are exposed to diverse cultural values and languages in early development and face developmentally unique challenges and opportunities. In this talk, Professor Zhou will discuss the ecological model for understanding risk and protective factors for psychological adjustment in children of immigrant families and language minority homes.
