Upcoming Conference

“Is a PhD for Me” What you can be with a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences is a free one-day conference that will provide information to students with disabilities who are thinking about applying to graduate school. The conference will take place on Saturday, April 14th, 9am - 3pm, 245 Li Ka Shing Hall, University of California, Berkeley [Map]

Talks and Activities include:

Talks and panel discussions featuring leading researchers and students who will share their experiences navigating graduate school with a disability

Panel discussion lead by UC Berkeley Disabled Student’s Program (DSP) staff

Cutting-edge research talks presented by UC Berkeley faculty in the biomedical sciences

Panels led by faculty admissions experts who will give tips on applying to graduate school

Lunch and afternoon networking session with faculty, students and DSP staff
