In-Place Asphalt Recycling and Soil Stabilization Strategies

Course | January 7 – 9, 2014 every day | 1:30-4 p.m. |  Online

Technology Transfer Program

Our nation's infrastructure is currently at an all time low with a D- rating down from a D only a few years ago. Despite having the technology in place to change our situation for the better, many agencies continue to maintain their roadways with conventional rehabilitation techniques. For the forward-thinking agencies that want to make the shift to eco-efficient in-place asphalt recycling techniques and a proactive pavement preservation plan, the backbone of that shift is a well-executed pavement management program. Students taking this series of courses will learn the essentials of how to successfully maintain an existing or implement a new PMS (pavement management system) from scratch within their agency. While this course will be a build on IDM-03, IDM-04, and IDM-25 from the series, they are not a pre-requisite for this course or others in the same series.
