This hands-on, practice-focused course provides "real-world" advice on how to design, install, and operate a wide range of effective traffic calming devices. The course reviews case studies from US communities and provides the student with an interactive learning experience. Emphasis is placed on the legal and design aspects of traffic calming in a California context as well as on how to manage community relations.
