Projects for Peace is an initiative open to residents of International House - UC Berkeley to design grassroots projects for the summer of 2019 - anywhere in the world - which promote peace and address the root causes of conflict among parties.

We encourage applicants to use their creativity to design projects and employ innovative techniques for engaging project participants in ways that focus on conflict resolution, reconciliation, building understanding and breaking down barriers which cause conflict, and finding solutions for resolving conflict and maintaining peace. Projects will be selected for funding at $10,000 each.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 11:59 pm

Eligibility: Only I-House residents in good standing for the full 2018-19 academic year are eligible to apply.

I-House Program Office is the designated campus official for I-House UC Berkeley. I-House UC Berkeley winners will represent I-House Berkeley in the I-House World Wide Competition.
