Ma Khin Lay, Founder and Director, Triangle Women's Support Group (Yangon)

Ma Khin Lay leads a womens organization in Myanmar that has worked for women's empowerment at the grassroots level across the country. Programs have included activities on reproductive health, parenting and child psychology, human trafficking, human rights, and sexual and gender-based violence. Triangle also offers vocational training to young women including training on digital literacy, English, leadership and organizational management. Previously, Lay was the leader of Kamaryut Womens Wing of the National League for Democracy (NLD), the party of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Ma Khin Lay is currently in the U.S. as a 2017 Eisenhower Fellow.
