Join us for lunch on December 7th with current Miller Postdoctoral Fellow and future MVZ/IB faculty Rebecca Tarvin!

Rebecca’s research program focuses on the evolution of acquired chemical defenses in poison frogs (Dendrobatidae) and fruit flies. Her graduate and post-doctoral work has taken to such places as Ecuador, Colombia, and Cameroon. She can already be found on campus as a Miller Postdoctoral Fellow and starting in July 2019 Rebecca will be an Assistant Professor of IB and Assistant Curator of Herpetology in the MVZ.

When: Friday, December 7, 12:30pm - 2pm
Where: 5192 Valley Life Sciences Building
Who: All are welcome (men and women, graduate and undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff)

A meal will be served. Please bring your own plate, cup, and utensils if you can to help us reduce waste! This meeting is generously funded by the Graduate Assembly.
