Professor Emeritus George Breslauer explores four surviving, yet distinctly different, communist regimes — China, Vietnam, North Korea and China — and discusses their future prospects and the implications for US foreign policy.

George Breslauer is a Professor of Political Science, and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Emeritus, UC Berkeley. Author or editor of twelve books on Soviet, Russian, and communist politics and foreign relations. Award-winning instructor.
