Explore beautiful winter botanical subjects and make them come to life! Born and raised in Paris, where her love of art began, Catherine Watters is an enthusiastic instructor who enjoys sharing her passion of botanical art. She will guide you through the steps of drawing and building layers of color to capture their form, rich colors and texture. Your painting may be the perfect subject for your holiday cards!

2 Erasers - Pentel ‘Clic’
Kneaded Rubber

2 Palettes (paint pans) – White plastic, round w/10 compartments

2 Paint Brushes - Winsor Newton, Series 7, Kalinski Sable # 1 & #3
(less expensive - Sceptre Gold II by Winsor & Newton # 2 & #4)

Divider - A measuring tool, similar to a compass but with 2 points (no adjusting wheel!)

Whisk - Desk broom to sweep eraser crumbs

Magnifying glass

Gooseneck table lamp

Watercolor Paper - 9” x 12” 140 lb. block of hot-pressed Arches
