Science Policy Networking Event

Science, Technology & Engineering Policy Group


The Science Policy Networking Event is an opportunity for students, postdocs, and faculty interested in studying specific science policy issues to meet individuals in complementary disciplines.

The goal of this event is to establish groups of researchers that will ultimately present their work at conferences or publish their findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Possibilities include:
# Development of technologies to combat climate change
# Politics of stem cell research
# Funding for basic science
# Nuclear disarmament and biosecurity
# Technologies to help alleviate poverty
# Privacy issues in personal genomics
# And many more!

Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be available.
