This week we will learn about and discuss how social network factors, such as bonding and social support, can positively impact our health and how such ties can be leveraged for social change in our work environments.
Evan joins us from her role in the Online MPH program, where she serves as Faculty Lead for the Interdisciplinary Program, Academic Student Advisor, and Instructor of Health & Social Behavior. Her public health experience centers on bilingual (Spanish/English) community health participatory research, outreach, and education. She has coordinated field efforts for community research projects in New York and San Francisco for studies involving youth and women in the areas of adolescent pregnancy and sexual health, partnership dynamics, social networks, and place-based health.
