Seaview and Big Springs Trails Loop, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley
Meeting location: 37.90083, -122.24996 (entrance of Quarry Trailhead by the Quarry picnic site)
You are invited to join your fellow public health advocates at this official Public Health Alumni Association hosted hiking event. Come enjoy the outdoors, soak in the wonderful views of the Bay Area, and socialize with fellow Berkeley SPH graduates! Light snacks will be provided. The hike will start at 10 a.m.
Seaview and Big Springs Trails Loop
Trail description: Moderately difficult, 4.3 miles loop with wide rocky paths and ~1000ft elevation gain that provides great views of the bay area. Dogs are allowed on the trail so feel free to bring along your dog. Hike might take 2-3 hours.
Parking and restroom: Off of Wildcat Road
Quarry Trailhead parking lot (Quarry Picnic site, Wildcat Canyon Road, Berkeley, CA)
Inspiration Point parking lot (Inspiration Point, Wildcat Canyon Rd, Orinda, CA 94563)
Fees for entrance/parking/dog: None
Recommendations to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, close-toed shoes (preferably hiking shoes), snacks/ food (eg: nuts, trail mix, sandwich)
PHAA Provisions: Light snacks will be provided after the hike
