Sarah Allen is a retired marine ecologist in National Park Service. She has been working as National Park Service Pacific West Regions Ocean and Coastal Resources Program Lead and coordinating scientific research in the parks. In this talk, she will focus on the current and future challenges for national park management, and how to bring together scientists, practitioners, and the general public to achieve conservation goals. She will also be sharing her personal experience and conservation career path. The talk is sponsored by the Society of Conservation Biology. Light snack will be provided.
