Jared Diamond

College of Natural Resources, Master of Development Practice, Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management's 20th Anniversary


Pulitzer-Prize winning author of Guns, Germs, and Steel and UCLA professor of geography Jared Diamond will discuss his most recent book about how traditional peoples differ from members of modern industrial societies in their reactions to danger. A question-and-answer session will follow. Doors open at 6PM.


The event is free and open to the public on a first-come basis. Limited seating. Doors open at 6:00PM. Lecture will be recorded and available on the Albright website after the event.
