This free workshop will start with an introduction of African Popular dance; the roots of the dance and its current space. The names and meaning of movements, and the socio-political and economic relevance to it communities will also be addressed. We will then practice some Afro-Pop movements like Azonto, Shorkie, Amanda, Gwara gwara, Kupe, Gweta, Shoo, etc.
