The Lawrence Hall of Science--UC Berkeley's public science center--is celebrating its 50th anniversary! In May 1968, we opened our doors to the public for the first time. Join us for a day of science fun on Sunday, May 20th as we kick off a year of special events and programs to celebrate 50 years of hands-on science learning. Admission will be free to the public.

Do you ever want to stop and sketch your views while you are traveling or visiting special places? Using pen and ink, pencil and colored pencil, we will go through some exercises to learn a few simple but effective techniques to record our experiences so we can enjoy them, or even work from them, later.
